Job Coach

We’re very excited to announce that, with thanks to the National Lottery, we have employed our first Job Coach.

Helen has been a teacher for 30 years, moving from teaching mainstream primary in London to students on the Autism Spectrum with Severe Learning Disability or Profound and Multiple Learning Disability in Bedfordshire, Northampton and Chippenham.

“My job is to give you the support you need to help you gain and maintain employment by: Supporting work skills to enable you to do your job independently, boost your confidence so you are motivated to keep learning and become a valued employee, and help you learn systems and processes needed for the job. I will work with you from developing your skiil set and knowledge for a role, all the way up to, and during, your time in the work placement.”
